The countdown to what!???

Okay so as you all may have noticed I've been a lil MIA in my posting. I'm totally working on it but I need y'all to stop posting awesome blogs that compel me to read them and comment and distract me from posting my own stuff! Just kidding, we have been thick in wedding planning and trying to make some serious plans before all the other planners and brides/grooms take our weekends and ideal venue options:)

Anyway so I've been creative this week, and my first project was to make a chain of 365 links to countdown to our big day (7-16-2011) My awesome collegues at work suggested it as a fun way to get excited about the days as they progress. Kevin and I are really excited about being married and often turn to eachother and dance and squeal (that's usually me or him mocking me) in delight that its going to be a beautiful day and surrounded by those we love and those that are as excited to be a part of our lives today as they are in the future:)..

Anyway so I cut up lots and lots of strands...


and then I got to stapling them together. I made different colors for each month and each month is numbered in case we forget or go away for a few days we know exactly how many to pull off:) (yeah we are list-making organized peoples).

So we have had lots of fun making it and putting it up (and keeping it up!)
