So I'm sure this is just something that I'm not google-reader savvy about or follower-savvy,, but let me just tell you for un momento por favor something that makes me irate.
Protected posting.
To be clear: I'm not opposed to people posting things they don't want shared,, or even posting without the ability to comment. I'm all for people having things to themselves. But if your going to post,, and its going into my reader,, and its going to come thru my list OVER AND OVER again,,,, why protect it?
If you want it to be read,,,, why protect it?
If you don't want it to be read,,, protect it somewhere else?
But maybe bloggies I just don't know.. is there a way to NOT subscribe to protected posts from someone so I don't have to be frustrated?

There was one girl, I think Summer? who mentioned she was making her blog private and if anyone wanted to be put on the allowed list to let her know. You could email this person or persons and asked to be allowed to read or remove them from the reader.
I don't think there's a way to NOT subscribe to just protected posts cuz everything will show up that posts.

I think Summer is maybe the blogger at B is for Brown? She protected her baby blog and made it private but has since made it public, so you can still check it out! she has some great writing too!
Yikes! I haven't see that yet - (maybe because we home bloggers are obsessed with sharing). I would say if you can't figure out how to stop it to just unsubscribe....
BTW - totally jealous you are headed to BlogHer! Prepare to be totally overwhelmed and need some time to process! That is how Blissdom was for me earlier this year!
