Big Bang Play by Play..

So you know I have some fave TV shows... Well tonite I'm watching my DVR'd Big Bang,,,
and I'm gonna do my closest attempt at a play by play,,, as seen/heard by me!:)

Have we begun to mention that I LOVE RAJ and Sheldon!!???

Sheldon is not allowed to go to the meteor shower cuz he's going to write a paper on BS. He discusses colonial history of Thailand to try to get his appetizer and dinner ordered.

OMG if he knocks on another one of Penny's doors 'knock knock knock Penny?'.

Tubs are slippery!:)
Bwhahahahahahah the ducks are whimsical because they have neither a need for or the ability to use umbrellas.

where is the glenoid socket?

Bwahahahhaahha Menopause,, natures birth control hahahahahahahaa

BWHWHWHWHWHHWHWHWHWHHWHW
"Is that my arm?"
"It doesnt feel like a arm"
"well maybe you should let it go!"
Bwahahahahah

OMG Raj is focusing his brain on trying to make the world stop spinning!!!
This is the best episode EVER!!!

OMG THE AMERICAN ACCENT.... I just fell in love with Raj AGAIN!.

PS... Sheldon and his mirror adjustments are SOOO like Kevin,, whenever he drives my car I seriously bang my head so hard on the car cause its so close to the window!

"I would be kind to my rabbits .... at first'

"YOu know what is a cool name.... Angelo.... it has angel and jello in it".

"Mr Spock did not pilot the enterprise".

"But I do suppose it takes courage to have that kind of commitment to soup!".

"Check and see if we have anymore pudding".

"I'll put in progress...... bwahahahaha'.

"Possible Tourette's"

Watching Sheldon be comforting is quite frankly the creepiest most awesome thing ever!!!!

"Charm of your drug addled candor knows no bounds"...

OMG He's going to sing to Penny...

Oh I hope Raj speaks American again!!!

OMG HE Did it!!!! He's mocking Howard and I love it.

OKay off to watch Kelly Cutrone!:)

Man's questions:)

1 - Why did you start blogging? I started blogging because it was a way for me to keep up with my family and friends that do not live nearby, it later developed into a way to be creative and write my thoughts.

2 - Who's the one blog friend that you would want to meet most in "real life"?
Honestly there are quite a few! I love my local blog friends like Kerri or Kiera, and I look forward to meeting many more at Blogher 2010

3 - Why are you always concerned with losing that "extra 10 pounds" when chances are your husband/boyfriend/friends tell you that you look just fine the way you are?
I'm not concerned about what my bf things concerning my weight. Thankfully he's always loved me and doesn't understand why I beat myself up so its easy to not be concerned, its not negative. But weight loss is something for my health and my happiness no one else's.

4 - What's the one thing you wish guys could understand about you?
I think I would like both women and men need to understand that a strong woman who is assertive about her opinions (I do not mean aggressive I mean assertive), that she's not a b*&^% , and that she is a person with feelings and thoughts.:) We attack our own and we attack each other and its all hurtful.

5 - Tattoos. How many do you have and how many are visible when you wear your "everyday" clothes? I have none, I really have no symbol that is important enough for me to be permanent, perhaps in the future I may but right now, no butterfly or flower means that much.

6 - What was the best year of your life and why?
Honestly, since I turned 30 in Oct, this year has been the best. I have been rocking my life and I'm a part of my friends and family's lives and its all awesome.

7 - Name three things you would do if you were a man for one day.
I would spend LESS time in the bathroom, my hair and makeup process would be nil!
I would wear a baseball cap regularly.
I would go to a bar and sit alone and be cool with that.!

8 - What's your alcoholic drink of choice that usually raises a few eyebrows?
Yuengling,, since my time in PA I love that beer and its a strange name up here in Buffalo but people always look at me funny for wanting that.

You can Dance if you Wanna!

So yesterday Kevin woke up from his mid-day nap (he works really early AM's on weekends so he naps when he gets home). He came out to the living room where I was happily reading blogs and farming and catching up on my ANTM/Housewives/Runway. (tough life, I know)

So anyway he was feeling kinda blah and has had some sinus/allergy things going on for a few days so it was no fun for him. I asked him 'how is your face (sinus)'.. he said okay he just felt blah/no energy.

So I said okay,, stand up!!! And I turned the TV on. He looked at me and rolled his eyes as he knows what's going to happen next. I turned to my most fave music channel, Hit list (sometimes I switch to Dance/Electronica or Pop or Today's Country).. and he said 'are we having a dance party'... I said OF COURSE now stand up!.

So we promptly danced in our living room , with our socks on the hardwood (yes we randomly slid across too cuz that was super fun!) Within about five minutes we had both burned some calories laughed a ton and got our energy levels back to a normal level.

I'm totally a lucky girl to have found a man that not only will dance randomly in the house with me, but will not get upset when he's feeling blah and I try to come up with something nutsy to do mid day!:)

SO I thought I'd share some dance-friend pics to show you how Kevin and I get down with our friends and family and also how they rock it.

This is Kevin and I slow dancing with his sister, Amy on my bday when we went to see THE LANCE (lancediamond) Yes he's wearing a fedora he could not be contained.

This is from a few weeks ago when we went to a Disco with Joanne and her friends! No I'm not wearing the same shirt, I just love the perfect blue!

This is Kevin and Laura doing the cha cha slide at Nicole's Wedding.

This is Nicole and Martin during their first dance as hub/wifey.

This is HYSTERICAL Laura and Dave dancing... we had to take this pic a few times cause they're both camera hams.

and finally

This is Kevin and I at Nicole's wedding,, this is probably closest to the flash-dance party we had yesterday!:)

PS If you think Nicole and Laura are super cute, check out their blogs at:

Nicole- Simple Travels in my HOmelande at http://www.simplelivinginabigcity.com/

and also check out my cousin Shannon's blog, Milk and Cuddles at http://milkandcuddles.com/. There are pictures of her and I dancing and her and her husband dancing but I couldnt find them on FB or her blog so I want it to be noted she's a dance fan too!:)

Friday Follow! Whatdju Say?

Friday Follow

Hey bloggies, its FRIDAY following, and I hope you click the link above and find many other blogs to love on like you all so kindly love on mine:) I look forward to finding new blogs and meeting new peeps too!:)

So today I'd like to talk about many phrases that people say during the course of my days/weeks that drive me BONKERS. Phrases that don't make sense or are filler phrases.. and I have no idea where these phrases come from but maybe you too can be amused and share some of yours!!!

A) Six in one,,, 1/2 dozen in the other- Um,,,,I guess the point is that there is no difference but really, is all that necessary. Is it important to make me think 'um six is half... well unless your a baker' while your in the middle of whatever conversation your trying to express.

B) Long story short- Hate hate HATE this phrase... is it a long story or is a short story? Do you think I want the edited version or the long version and if there is more to the story what are you NOT telling me? The thing that makes me TOTALLY bonkers is when someone throws this lil nugget into the convo roughly 50 times in between the important stuff.. As a filler its torture. TORTURE I tell you peeps!

C) I'm the Indian, not the Chief- Yeah this is as inappropriate as it sounds, I guess the concept is that this person cannot make any decisions because they hold minimal power, but when it comes to scheduling me an appointment,, I dont care who I need to speak with that will help me, if you can't help me transfer me to someone who can, don't use an inappropriate cultural slur to emphasize your point. Ugh

C)Not for nothing- WHAT? Double negatives make me totally bonkers.. sometimes in a way that is entertaining like 'dont use no double negatives'.. but in this case I'm so distracted by the nonsense that you just said I'm not really sure if we're saying we don't like something or we do like something?? I"m confused,, lets start again and maybe don't use this one !

D) Ya feel me? -Um no.. I do not feel or touch or anything on you. I'm pretty sure your trying to say 'do you understand me' or 'do you know what i mean?'... but all I'm hearing is touch touch touch and all I'm thinking is No NO NO.

And now to end with a phrase that I love and just randomly squeal through the day..

MILKA WHAT??!!!!

It took me long enough,,

So all you bloggy friends old and new (welcome!) may recall that exercising is something is important to me. Maybe you recall my super-ambitious attempt to wake up and go to the gym BEFORE work?. You probably recall my many reasons for wanting to exercise and have a runners body and core and mental strength. You may also recall my first race where I tried to run 8k on Thanksgiving!?.

But you also know my vices.. we just chatted a few days ago about a serious problem with chocolate peanut butter!. You know I gave up some stuff for Lent to try to push myself and bring my relationship with God a bit tighter and a bit further away from the 'stuff' that I feel like I rely on and keep me further from joy.

So while I have a good amount of weight to lose, I decided to put a ticker with a small baby step goal. Its by no means a small feat but its not the whole goal. Just like I'm not going to pay off my student loan in one lump sum (unless any of ya'll wanna donate me like 90k? hahaha). So its important to not focus on the overall and instead to focus on a 'chunk' (pun!) at a time!

I have been debating posting this ticker for awhile now, and Shell's Pour your Heart out Meme really helped me to not be afraid (Thanks Shell). (Sadly because I spent all my free time reading other's posts today I might be late on the mclinky but I'm going to try).

I've been debating because I don't want my blog to be about any one topic. I don't want someone to stumble upon this blog and say 'oh this is another weight loss blog' and not look deeper and find the many meandering variations of me. I have gained the weight slowly but the lowering of my self esteem and the mismatch that has happened between who I feel like I am on the inside and who I portray on the outside has did not happen slowly. That happened during grad school when I went to the health center for strep throat and all I heard the physician say was the word obese. From that point on, my self esteem continued to be poisoned and I started the yo-yo of loss and gain, always ending up more on the gain side.

When I was younger I was HUGELY active. Tomboy barely described me. Wearing sweatpants in middle school when everyone else was wearing Gap Jeans and concerned about how they looked. I wore sweatpants. (not always but as often as I could get away with it!). I played a sport EVERY season. When I broke my wrist I couldnt do volleyball as it was still healing after the cast came off, so I joined the swim team. Not being a part of an athletic event was not possible for me. I loved junk food but my mom kept us eating really healthy at home and we rarely went out to eat. I actually got an 'paperplate award' for being the Garbage Plate because when our teams would go to McDonalds after a long trip I'd finish everyone else's plates.. (dangerous foreshadowing anyone?)

In high school it became more complex and while I could be a part of the teams I also wanted to sing and dance and get a job and have a boyfriend and so sports took their place but were not the only driving force.

College was about dancing in bars or on stages and while I was NOT a dancer, I had fun and was very active in an evolving way.

Grad School beat me down all around but my self esteem plummeted when I heard obese. I was aware my sizes were changing in clothes but I still loved myself and I had some kind of reverse body dysmorphia where I didnt realize how I was bigger than I thought I was. The word obese changed that all, and I soon learned that if I was going to eat I had to mock myself and joke about 'fatty' and it just got destructive and not helpful.

I love food as you know and I love learning to cook but not as much as I love eating deliciousness. Buffalo is such a mecca for awesome food, but that is not all there is to life. There is much more and in order for me to find the self esteem that I once had I need to have that ticker up there to make me accountable for my actions.

Its like a reminder that makes me realize that its something I value daily and not just occasionally. I'm ready to be healthier and I'm ready to be thinner and I'm ready to love my body inside and out and make it function better. I am ready, and today it starts.

Baby step #1.:)

In an attempt

In an attempt to curb my hunger craving today, the day I returned to counting WW points, chose to be healthier and eat less junk... I drank water to fill my stomach in an attempt to avoid the DD muffins that are talking to me from across the room.

They are lent-approved,, but they amass approximately 15 points and frankly I can't agree to have that as dinner so I must avoid.

So water,, I thought this was a great idea... Fill myself up with water so that I'm too full to want to eat and or let my stomach growl.

Plan-FAIL! Instead the 'full' feeling is only located in my bladder and I'm running like a total idiot to the bathroom 100 times today, and while running,, my stomach STILL GROWLING.. not happy. not happy at all.

So bloggies I need some suggestions STAT! What do you eat/drink that helps curb your cravings during the long hauls of the workday!?
(and please don't say chocolate as I might cry).

Table Top Tuesday (round three!)

Photobucket

would you rather live for a week in the past
or in the future?

There are many things in my past that I would like to 'McFly' myself back to the future and reset and restate or do something different to not hurt a friends' feelings or make someone feel judged or bad. But those are part of the lessons that make me me, so if given the choice..

I would go forward. I would get a glimse into the future and see what it is that I have become and see if it is what I want to become or if I need to tweak things now in order to make them better or different.

Like maybe 15 years from now I'm a SAHM and I am miserable because I miss my colleagues and the academia of my career. Or maybe I'm still working full time and I'm missing out on the growths and changes of my children? Or maybe I couldnt have kids and 15 years from now I'm contemplating adoption and wishing I had time back. Who knows what the world will still develop and I know that while I'd like to change things in the past, knowing that I'd be happy in the future makes pushing through the tough stuff now so much more worth it.

What do you think!?

Peep Wars Easter Activity

So as you all know I don't have kids, but there are certain times during the year where I like to be kidlike and enjoy the awesomeness of the holiday season. Holidays are my FAVORITE time of year to enjoy family and friends and celebrate and relax with the ones that you love the most.

Anyway, so my friends and I found out about this game a few years back so we brought it home and shared it with our families. I hope this blog can give you a fun activity to play with your families and kids.

So you know the peeps, whether you buy them intentionally or they always end up at the bottom of your basket!? Well this is what you do....

First you make teams.. Alot like a bracket. In our apartment we went gender neutral colors.. HA!@

We went pink for girls (me) and blue for boys (Kevin) duhHHHHh
So you take one out and they face eachother on a plate!

Then occasionally we add toothpicks in case they want to fence (or if there are four of them!)

Now the fun part!!! Put those lil babies in the microwave and put the timer on maybe 30 seconds and watch em!

They're going to get real big and kind of attack eachother so this is the fun part but you also want to watch and decide who wins (who's peep towered over the other)

Then once you know who wins you can take them out and they flatten out and get super soft and its kind of fun, and maybe this could be made into really really awesome smores?:)

Double Whammy at Church????

Whammy #1) Approximately 5 minutes into mass a family of four decides to enter our pew. Whomever came before us left the kneeling bench down and apparently Mom of family decided it needed to be kicked loudly in to the pew with an angry face, perhaps because we didnt move in (which we would have done but we were both singing and did not notice them till they were on top of us). Well the angry kick was too strong for the kneeling bench and it bounced back down, to further her anger and so I did it for her and got an angry snarl. That's kind. Don't forget lady, YOUR IN CHURCH!.

Whammy #2) We do the 'peace be with you's'. To be fair I need you to know a few months ago with the H1N1 scare everyone was asked to nod heads and not shake hands. Of course people were asked to stay home if they were sick but you all know how well that works. ANYWAY.. So this time Kevin and I were like 'I wonder if that is still in effect'.. mostly cuz we've been absent for a few weeks so we weren't sure if there was an announcement. So the people in front of us did a head nod, and the people behind us shook hands, so we just kinda played it by ear. (hand?) and shook the hands of the people next to us (including angry mom in #1). Very amicably.
Here's the whammy- NOT EVEN a minute after the peaces we get a strong scent of cucumber melon and we observe the people next to us PURELLing all their hands. Like the 'peace be with you's THEY chose to hand shake,,,were completed with disease infested people and they couldn't wait to get rid of it'. (aka us). We kinda couldn't stop laughing cause it was so rude and ridiculous, and of course later Kevin says 'Jesus touched lepers and these people cant withhold purelling'.

I mean,, if your afraid of our hands DON'T SHAKE! others didn't, just don't shake! Oy..

The sad thing is these two whammys TOTALLY go against the concept of Chruch and missing the entire point and homily about kindness and love, the WHOLE concept!

So bloggies..
Peace be with YOU!:)

Pour my Heart out

First of, I heart Shell and her constant suggestions to get me involved in the blogosphere, and someday when I get a WII and Just Dance I'll be all involved, but for now, I like the 'pour my heart out icon and you all know I love to pour my heart out,, so here goes'.

So the concept is to pour my heart out about something I am passionate about.
While there are many 'professional topics that I could talk about, and many soapboxes that I can get on any given day, today is one that often gets me worked up on all fronts,, when I read the blogs of others and when I speak with friends/family.

The topic is ADVOCACY.
You might be like holla wha??? Advocacy,,, aka advocating for the things that matter. For those of you that have kids,, advocating for them,, and for those that don't ,, advocating for yourself.

Drives ME BONKERs..... when ,, it seems like mostly women, but many people, fear speaking up for themselves. I'm so frustrated when we put others' before ourselves... 'Well if my boss doesnt make more money how can I ask for a raise'. "Well I don't have a college degree so I shouldn't apply for the job'. "Well I don't know anything about anatomy and drugs so why would I question the doctor?". "Well my kid doesnt want to cooperate how am I supposed to make him?' "Well it was recommended that my child have this surgery to help them hear/breathe/eat/speak but we got busy and it didnt happen'.

AHHHHHHH

SO because you know I like structure...
Who needs advocating for:
#1 and most importantly YOU! No one NO ONE will ever put your needs before theirs whether it be medical, emotional, financial, personal, etc. NO ONE... so decide that what you want is important and your time is important and step up for yourself.

#2 Your Family- Whether you wives have to help your husbands learn to advocate or the other way,,, or you have to teach your kids to advocate for themselves (and others), these are the integral people in your present and future and they need these skills.

#3 Your Friends- This one I have the most trouble with, primarily because my #2 area is relatively small or pretty good advocaters at this time. But your friends sometimes need someone to advocate for them, or someone to help them learn how to advocate for themselves. Never easy, very complex but hugely important for the long term relationships.

Whom do we need to advocate against? ,, Like who do we need to sometimes stand up against or be assertive with?

Now let's pause to be clear a moment here... Assertive means making it clear what you are requesting WITH RESPECT. It does not mean being hateful, rude or inconsiderate. You are speaking with other human beings and regardless of how tough/harsh/smart they are they too have feelings and deserve respect and courtesy. You don't want to alienate the person your advocating for or against, and maybe thats a misnomer in the use of 'against' but I hope you get my point here.

Whom...

A) Other Parents-ex)No, because I am a SAHM I am not able to babysit your child at every school holiday or sick day or so you can go out to dinner with your husband or go out with your girlfriends to find a new husband. Uh NO.

B) Teachers- ex)My son requires extra time to take a test as per his IEP, so let's make sure that happens for EVERY TEST,, not just the big tests.

C) Doctors- This medication you want to put me on has side-effects of depression and suicide and perhaps those are not side effects I'm interested in risking....

D) Grandparents or other family members- ex) I'm sorry if you think that my child having a lactose allergy is a 'phase' but they will not be coming to your home until you understand the risk your putting them at by giving them milk for lunch.....or that there is lactose in A LOT of things. Oh and PS.. We don't spank here...

E) Other friends- No I'm not available to make plans and have you no-show, cancel or do both at the last second without a phone call. If I made time for you, the least you can do is make time to send a text/call.

F) Future Spouses - I do not plan on 'pretending' to be someone that I am not so if you don't like the real me, then this is not going to work day one,,, let's call it what it is. (a nice try).

G) Financial Advisers- If you do not explain to me IN DETAIL and give me in writing the stocks/bonds/funds that you would like me to entrust my money in,, then NO I will not be able to write you a check. If you don't educate do NOT expect me to substantiate.

H) Lawyers- If at ANY Moment you get a sensation that this is not right you need to advocate for yourself and ABORT and get a new lawyer. You want someone on your team that you can trust and if you cannot trust them, find anew one.!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Eggs

Peanut Butter eggs just like anything with peanut butter covered in chocolate are the best part of Easter. I know I know,,, Easter is not about candy or chocolate,, but just for a moment lets talk about one of my favorite things.

Of course Reece's has the best peanut-butter to chocolate ratio ever, so when you get the knock offs its not always the same. Did you see the Reese-ster-bunny up top? Doesn't it make you want to drool with joy? It does for me!

When I was living in PA for grad school a local church used to make their own peanut butter filled chocolate eggs. They were STUFFED and were like 3 sizes bigger than the ones pictured below.

They had ones with rice krispies in them (to give the peanut butter some crunch), some solid peanut butter, some with caramel, and I think some solid chocolates. They were EVERYWHERE! I worked at a bank and we'd have them for sale to help the church and everyone would stop in and get them. They'd have them on the corner of every gas station or local restaurant, seriously you could NOT AVOID them,, and you didnt want to.

If I knew the name of the church I'd totally consider mail-ordering them,, YEP THAT GOOD PEOPLE!. Of course I'd have to wait till Easter to eat them this year, but it would TOTALLY be worth it.

Can you tell these excite me!?

What Easter treat excites you!?

Loud Laughter courtesy of Van Gogh

Friday Follow

Today in my apt, I tackled Kevin in my usual way and observed that his ear hair is present and accounted for, and as an audiologist it disgusts and upsets me. It has, and we've talked about it,and he clearly does not get upset by his old man ear hair.
ICK

So this is what happened.
Me: If you get me a pair of scissors I can get it real easy!.
Kevin: No way.
Me: It won't hurt!
Kevin: No way I'm letting you near me with scissors , what if one of us SNEEZES!!

He continued talking about how he'd turn into VanGogh or something but I stopped listening because I couldnt stop laughing and its still funny as I type it.

What if indeed!? hahahaha

Hair Coloring?

Okay Bloggies,
So the topic today is Hair Dye,, and coloring. This is a relatively new concept for me as I've loved my hair color my whole life and it wasnt till recently that I realized the 'smattering' of greys have spread and I can't brush them out of my line of vision.
Hence I lost my mind!.

So now I'm a dyer..... and I consulted my expert-friends to help me find the right color and actually 'apply the dye'. You know I"m too frugal to go have it done professionally (at least its going to need to be maintained!), and you know that I bought boxes that I had coupons for,, but still.

I need some basic knowledge on this topic and I'm hoping all you wiser than me bloggies can help guide a girl. Perhaps you know from personal experience, or perhaps you know from your mothers or grandmothers teaching you, or perhaps you know cause you went to beauty school... or know someone who does. I won't judge , promise!

Okay things I need to know.

1) How long is this color expected to last!?

2) Is there a way to buy just enough to retouch up the roots but not the whole head and not pay as much?

3) How long is 'too long' to not do the roots?

4) If I tough up the roots, how will I know they will match the rest unless I do it all over again?

5) What kind of budget should I have for this new 'addition' to my life?

Okay bloggies please share your brains cause I'm a dud on this one, and my hair is growing like a weed.!

Gratias!

An Inappropriate Commercial for joy....or Triceps?

Holy Moly Bloggies!!!
Yesterday Kevin and I were at our local watering hole, Jack Astors (we call it Jacks).. and while enjoying our lobster-crab dip (yum), we saw this commercial on one of the many large HDTVs in the place. We couldnt stop laughing and its totally inappropriate but as I was laughing Kevin said 'your gonna blog about that right?'...

So while I usually leave these things up to the Blogess,, I'll just send you to the commercial and you can have some laughter for the day too.:)

Kevin's joke-Clearly no men need this product......
My response,,,, yeah they kinda have their own....

DVR Commentary

OKay so you all know I'm OBSESSED with my DVR.... I became an addict when I was living in NYC and I never knew if I would be home on time for my fave shows and after many many years of being in school and missing ALL the good stuff to read my notes and textbooks!

So I am going to touch on my fave shows out right now, and maybe later on we'll have posts more in depth about the things I love about them, and hopefully my bloggie friends with see some of their faves too and we can have some tv love!

Note: No particular order....

Parenthood shows the many dimensions and angles of parent and children, with this all star cast of so many of my favorite actors and actresses that I was constantly surprised and overjoyed to see. Like the girl from Swimfan and the guy from Myboys,,, Love love. The pilot was this week and can be seen on hulu or something online and its seriously a must-see.

Life Unexpected
is exciting, complex and I smile and get tearful every time because there are moments that are so true and raw and heartfelt. Plus I love the girls' hair and Ryan you should recognize... :)

Big Bang Theory- Can not watch without laughing loudly ALONE in my home... its that good... Dorks unite in the best way. BAZINGA!

Kell on Earth- Because she's intense and fierce and also an awesomely loving mom and cares deeply about her employees and colleagues and clients and what you think goes into a show is not even a NUGGET of it..

Real Housewives of NY (PS I love NJ too but its not on right now).- The 'breakup' going on with Bethenny and Jill makes my heart wrench because I want them both to stop it all and go back to being friends but I know it does not work like that. I cant wait to watch again!

Americas Best Dance Crew (ABDC) with Mario.... You all know I love love LOVE Dancing,,, and when SYTYCD comes back I'll be obsessed with that again too, its just so great to see people use their bodies for inspiration and joy. So awesome... This week they did a tribute to the Lady Gaga monsters and frankly PURE JOY.... hooked.

Taking the Stage- Seriously this show started last year and the song at the beginning alone makes my heart jump for those who are reaching and trying with their hearts.. Its like 'Centerstage.... my fave' only with real people and its not a movie its their 'staged' lives.

Project Runway-Yeah you know I cant stop watching this one right? I really don't like the Mila girl I think she's overconfident and mean spirited, but that was a lot like last year's winner so really..... who am I to know what is awesome. I am always learning what the 'style judges' thing are good or bad..

Biggest Loser- There are so many Aha moments on this show for me. Ahah,,, that stress will not help your goals,, the week the two green teamers gained/ or lost like 1lb because of all the cortisol running thru them,,, I was like 'HOLY MOLY if they can be eating the food their told and gymming 7 plus hours and not shed... well thats huge! I love this show and of course its heartfelt. PS Michael can stay cause he needs the ranch, but he SOOOO cannot win!

REAL World DC- (of course anything with DC in it is all fo' me!) I have such a love/hate relationship with this show! Its like that cupcake you know you shouldn't eat but you just love the taste! I wish that they could bring in counselors to help these people thru the super heavy stuff.

Finally (but not LAST!)

Modern Family- Saying I love this is the understatement of the day,,, Waiting till Kevin is home to watch this is torture but its so much more fun to watch together than to laugh solo!:) This show is HYSTERICAL.... Why the face!:) love.

Okay now go set your dvrs to watch ALLLL of these and email me about what you think about them!

Table Top Tuesday (my second round!)

Photobucket

Okay so the topic today is :What is the last thing you cried about?

Teared up....I do this alot.
1) Imagining how messed up our budget attempts would be with tax season.
2) Listening to Rascal Flatts Unstoppable CD... (I'll make a video link at the end).
3) Watching Ryan Miller fall to the ground after the Olympic Hockey Game Sunday.
4) Watching the closing ceremonies thinking about all those young athletes that came and gave it their all for various levels of success/failure/injury/death:(

Full out crying my face off:
1) At the end of Deep End last week when Addie broke up with her bf.
2) Watching the Canadian figure skater perform a day after her mom died. Heart pain.
3) Pretty much any Greys Anatomy episode.
4) Talking to my mom about hurt feelings past and present!:)
